At 17:30 on Wednesday, 8 March, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving halogen heater on ground floor of domestic dwelling house. 4 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet used to extinguish fire.
