At 13:44 on Thursday, 27 April, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire involving first floor flat involving unattended cooking. One hose reel jet, 2 breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation fan in use.
