At 13:40 on Monday, 31 July, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Claverley.

5 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Craven Arms and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving 30 tonnes of hay in dutch barn measuring approximately 30 x 20 metres. Two hose reel jets in use.
