At 01:32 on Saturday, 7 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Shifnal.

6 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Hazmat and Safety officers were in attendance.

Fire involving 9 HGVs inside industrial unit crew extinguished fire using 4 breathing apparatus and 2 main jets
