At 14:51 on Wednesday, 18 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Environment Agency, the Police and Telford and Wrekin Council.

Agricultural vehicle involved in fire, 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets in use.
