At 22:53 on Friday, 1 December, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Chimney fire, crews used small gear, thermal imaging camera and chimney rods to extinguish
