At 12:38 on Thursday, 25 January, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Much Wenlock.

5 fire appliances including the Heavy Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Craven Arms and Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Fire involving farm workshop approx. 20m x 50m, with asbestos roof, two breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets, one main jet in use
