At 00:54 on Wednesday, 14 February, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

1 van 30% involved in fire, fire located in engine bay and cab. 1 hose reel jet, 4 breathing apparatus and thermal imaging camera in use.
