HGV Fire

At 06:25 on Thursday, 31 January, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of HGV on fire which proved to be a false alarm due to front brakes overheating. Crews carried out inspection using thermal imaging camera and cooled brakes using hose reel jet.
