At 11:32 on Saturday, 2 February, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving chimney of two storey domestic property. Crews extinguished. Following re-inspection to check for any hot spots, this incident has now been closed.
