At 20:19 on Saturday, 2 February, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

RTC involving 1 saloon car in collision with a tree. No persons trapped, crews made the vehicle safe using small gear
