M54E between Junction 3 and Junction 2

At 05:01 on Monday, 4 February, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in M54E between Junction 3 and Junction 2.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Telford.

Report of a car on fire on hard shoulder of M54, which on arrival was found to be a false alarm caused by a vehicle malfunction. No action required by fire service personnel.
