At 14:03 on Tuesday, 5 February, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

False alarm caused by mechanical fault. 1 hose reel jet in use to cool tyre
