At 19:01 on Friday, 7 June, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved 1 car 50% damaged by fire, believed to have been caused by an electrical fault. Crews used 2 hosereel jets and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish fire. Fire investigation officer also in attendance.
