At 22:02 on Friday, 7 June, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in Much Wenlock.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock.

Reports of smoke in the area. Fire crew attended & spoke with resident to determine cause. Believed to be a false alarm caused by car back firing nearby.
