At 11:43 on Sunday, 16 June, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bin Fire in Chiltern Gardens, Dawley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Fire involving wheelie bin in open. Fire was extinguished by a member of the public using a garden hose prior to arrival of fire crew.
