At 11:48 on Thursday, 27 June, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Newport. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

1 HGV on fire carrying low hazard fuel.
