At 21:33 on Thursday, 4 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in rear of Coseley Avenue, Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury.

Fire involving 1 large bale of hay in field. Fire extinguished using buckets of water and knapsack sprayer.
