At 08:18 on Tuesday, 30 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency.

Incident involved commercial van smoking heavily - crews used 1 hose reel jet for cooling purposes only as on arrival they confirmed that this was an overheated engine and not a fire.
