Tractor Fire

At 17:46 on Monday, 26 August, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving one tractor and baler attached, together with a quantity of hedgerow, tree, and approximately 80 square metres of straw. Crews used 2 hose reel jets, and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish.
