At 20:30 on Saturday, 31 August, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fence Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving 1 fence panel and undergrowth. 1 hose reel jet in use to extinguish.
