At 13:48 on Sunday, 8 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving stubble and bales, approximately 120 x 120 metres. Crews used hose reel jets and drag rakes to extinguish.
