At 11:23 on Sunday, 15 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Near Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

Small fire in engine compartment of private saloon car. The fire was out on arrival. Inspection only by Fire Service.
