At 10:23 on Saturday, 28 September, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Rowton near Halfway House.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Fire involving 50% of small van and approximately 5 meters of hedgerow. 2 hose reel jets and 2 breathing apparatus used by crew to extinguish fire.
