At 15:09 on Monday, 14 October, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Newport .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving engine compartment of horsebox. fire extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera.
