At 17:25 on Thursday, 24 October, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Hanwood.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved a fire on the kitchen hob. Crews used one hose reel jet, one covering jet and two breathing apparatus to extinguish fire.
