Station ground: Bishops Castle

At 10:27 on Tuesday, 21 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Clun. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Roof ladder
• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Fire involving wheelie bin at rear of property that has spread to roof of single storey utility room. Crews using two breathing apparatus, and two hose reel jets to extinguish.
