At 16:18 on Friday, 31 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Church Stretton and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews attended call to horse stuck in a gate but on arrival the horse had managed to self-extricate
