At 09:29 on Sunday, 16 February, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue.

1 fire appliance including the Water Rescue Unit was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Persons assisted to safe ground from a number of properties - road is now unpassable due to flood water.
