At 02:15 on Friday, 21 February, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Ludlow.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

One horse rescued from stables using animal rescue equipment.
