At 07:43 on Saturday, 25 April, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of car fire which involved one transit van 70% involved in fire on hard shoulder of A5. Fire crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet to extinguish fire.
