At 16:00 on Tuesday, 1 September, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of car on fire. Vehicle involved in fire being towed by flatbed recovery vehicle. Fire crews use 2 hose reel jets and 2 breathing apparatus. No casualties
