At 08:26 on Saturday, 2 January, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving contents of a recycling vehicle which was out on arrival of crews. Crews used a thermal imaging camera and drag rakes for inspection.
