At 10:57 on Thursday, 22 April, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Hengoed.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Forklift on fire within building - crews using one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus, positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke logging and a thermal image camera
