At 03:59 on Tuesday, 28 November, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Stableford.

4 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 1 large goods vehicle in collision with a bridge. The driver of the vehicle has been conveyed to hospital. Crews have used winches to stabilise the vehicle whilst awaiting heavy recovery. Environment Unit equipment from Tweedale fire station in use to prevent any contamination of nearby water course.

1 Male trapped in car after hitting tree. Crews extricated casualty using Holmatro cutting equipment and tirfor winch. 1 male conveyed to hospital via air ambulance, 1 further male conveyed to hospital by land ambulance

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

RTC involving 1 vehicle on its side on embankment. One female casualty released by Fire Service Personnel and now being treated by paramedics. Crews are making the vehicle and the scene safe using a tirfor winch, holmatro cutting equipment, an electric saw and the HI-AB from the Rescue Tender. Ambulance and police are also in attendance.

Involving one HGV horsebox come rest in a precarious position over the road edge. There were no persons trapped and no animals were within vehicle at the time. Crews stabilised vehicle only, awaiting recovery company.
