Road Safety Education Day - Shrewsbury College of Art and Technology

Location: 

On the 13th June Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service will be delivering a road safety education programme to over 300 students who attend Shrewsbury College of Art and Technology. All students attending the programme fall into our most at risk group consisting of 16 to 25 year olds.

The day will consist of 2 sessions lasting 1.5 hours incorporating a practical demonstration and an opportunity to learn more about the day-to-day work the emergency services carry out in the community.

The aim of these sessions it to raise awareness of the consequences of drink and drug driving, speeding, seatbelts, passenger safety and pier pressures.
