At 01:08 on Saturday, 7 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of strong smell of smoke in living room. Smell of burning was located to discarded cigarette in garden. No equipment was used by fire service crews.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of fire in electric oven which proved to be cooking left in oven. Property owner was alerted by smoke alarm and used fire blanket to extinguish fire. Thermal imaging camera was used by fire service

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

1 timber building involved in fire , 2 main jets, 2 Hose reel jets, 2 breathing apparatus in use

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder

Fire involving the electrics in a bedding grain dryer. Crews have extinguished using two hose reel jets.

At 11:41 on Tuesday, 3 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer, Craven Arms and Ludlow.

Reports of agricultural building on fire. Crews made up for further appliances. Fire crews used one 45 metre jet, 2 hose reel jets and 1 Manitou farm machine. The heavy water pumping unit and bowser were also used to utilise water from nearby river.
