At 22:43 on Tuesday, 4 January, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Wem.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Baschurch, Wellington and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

This incident involved a single vehicle which had rolled over.

Small fire involving cooking and a grillpan, 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera in use.

• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire involving log burner in property. Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a covering jet. Positive pressure ventilation was also in use.

This incident was found be 1 grillpan left on, with an excess quantity of fat witihin it, causing smoke logging of the premises. No fire.
