At 21:20 on Friday, 19 April, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
- Oxygen first aid
- Thermal imaging camera
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
Fire in kitchen on ground floor of terraced property. Crews used 2 hosreel jets and 1 covering jet whilst using breathing apparatus. Positive pressure ventilation used to ventilate the property. Casualty in care of ambulance crews.

Road traffic collision involving one motorcycle and one van. Fire Service crew administered first aid to casualty awaiting arrival of Ambulance Crew. Casualty left in Ambulance care.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Oxygen first aid
- Short extension ladder
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
This incident involved one domestic vehicle which had rolled over trapping the driver inside. Fire service personnel released the driver using a short extension ladder and a platform from the rescue tender before leaving them in the care of the ambulance service.
