At 10:53 on Wednesday, 5 January, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as RTC HGV in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Cutters/Spreaders

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving car and HGV. 1 persons released from vehicle now in care of ambulance.
