At 01:04 on Saturday, 8 January, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Ellesmere.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder
