At 08:20 on Thursday, 13 January, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Whitchurch .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Wem.

This incident was a false alarm caused by an overheating pottery kiln.
