At 11:25 on Thursday, 3 February, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Training. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a waste refuse lorry with a fire in the rubbish section of the vehicle which was extinguish by fire service personnel on arrival.
