At 09:29 on Thursday, 24 February, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Wolverhampton.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Wellington.

Fire crews attended to rescue sheep stuck in deep sludge. Sheep rescued successfully.
