At 07:01 on Wednesday, 9 March, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Market Drayton and Prees. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved a dog kennel adjacent to a house. Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
