At 20:58 on Monday, 21 March, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bin Fire in Wellington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Wheelie bin fire spread to domestic shed, crews extinguished using one hose reel jet, drag rakes and thermal imaging camera.
