At 11:52 on Saturday, 26 March, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

This fire was caused by a Lithium Ion battery from an e-bike. Advice given to owner of bike
