At 20:24 on Monday, 28 March, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Craven Arms.

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms.

This incident was a false alarm due to unattended controlled burn. Advice given to landowner
