At 16:54 on Friday, 8 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shorncliffe Way, Copthorne, Shrewsbury .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Call to fire in wooded area, incident was found to be a small fire which was out on arrival of fire crew. Buckets of water used to damp down area.
