At 06:33 on Tuesday, 19 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as RTC HGV in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

This incident involved 2 HGV vehicles, one of which had collided with the central reservation. No persons trapped. One casualty left in the care of the ambulance service.
